I have loved the story of the Ten Booms since I read The Hiding Place when it was first published. Thank you, Mike Evans, for making this virtual tour available to us who may never have the opportunity to see it in person. God bless you and God bless Israel.

It was very good. No problems touring this wonderful website. We homeschool and are reading CORRIE TEN BOOM Keeper of the Angels Den by Janet & Geoff Benge. The tour followed so much of the book. Ty and Jed, 9 year old twins, were able to sit and listen and watch this tour. They learned and were attentive. Thank-you! May God continue to bless this.

The book The Hiding Place changed me. It broke my heart into little tiny pieces and My Father scooped up the pieces and lovingly held them. May we always remember to " Thank God for the fleas." I had a personal experience with this new way of thinking and was blown away by God's Glory shining through. Keep Christ closer to you than anything. May His peace and wisdom flood your hearts and minds...

In addition, Rachel had roots in Iowa farm cnuotry. She wrote of her grandmother and uncle. Both farmers, both lovers of the land: (from the emails of Rachel Corrie) If any of us had our lives and welfare completely strangled, lived with children in a shrinking place where we knew, because of previous experience, that soldiers and tanks and bulldozers could come for us at any moment and destroy all the greenhouses that we had been cultivating for however long, and did this while some of us were beaten and held captive with 149 other people for several hours – do you think we might try to use somewhat violent means to protect whatever fragments remained? I think about this especially when I see orchards and greenhouses and fruit trees destroyed – just years of care and cultivation. I think about you and how long it takes to make things grow and what a labour of love it is. I really think, in a similar situation, most people would defend themselves as best they could. I think Uncle Craig would. I think probably Grandma would. I think I would.You asked me about non-violent resistance. (Again, thanks to Taxi for the link to Rachel's writings.)

I thank you for allowing me to see this place via the internet. If it hadn't been for that I would never have been able to see where so many people were saved by this family. God certainly was with this family as they protected so many people from the Nazis. The good that this family has done for the sake of God's people is a testimony to their dedication of their faith in Jesus Christ.

The world was such a diffirent place at that time. And yet still the same. May we all have God's peace, and comfort to know that some day soon he will come back for us.

In a day/time when it seems that the world is turning against the Jews and Israel it is imperative that Christians lift up them up in prayer. There will be worse times to come, I'm afraid, not just for the Jews/Israel, but any who call upon the name of the Lord, Jesus. Remember those who are persecuted in countries around the world for their faith. Thanks for this site and a remembrance of the cost and hope that believers have when they rely upon Jesus/God. May it bless all who come here to visit. Thanks!

I read the story of "The Hiding Place" as a girl and also saw the movie. I loved being able to see the places I read about. The extra information that was given during the tour was wonderful. I always remember the story of forgiveness that Corrie was sure to tell. Thank you for having this available to all who seek to know the Lord and to hear how He has worked in the life of a family. This helps me to remember that one can make a difference when yielded to the Lord. In the world we live in today it gives me hope.

May God lead my country to lead to do the right thing and help to bring peace in the Middle East and to sow love and justice in the world. May the United Staes return to her righteous path and may communism be abolished in the world. May we select good, honest leadership and right our ship of state. May God lead us in all things and protect the state of Israel in these turbulent times where wrong is called right, and right is called wrong. Amen

I just finished reading "The Hiding Place". I am the first generation son born to Holocaust survivors. My mother was from Romania, my father from Poland. Both survived Aushwitz. I was raised Orthodox Jewish but became a Christian about 30 years ago. This was a very meaningful book that helped me to appreciate God's love and Grace even more. Oh, that I may be able to show the kind of love and forgiveness that the Ten Boom family displayed. Praise His Holy Name for this family and how they furthered the Kingdom of God!

I have always been moved by the Hiding Place story. The courage of the Ten Boom family and especially the faith of Corrie and Betsy. What a Godly woman,what a Godly family. This story always inspires me.

I just finished reading Dr. Evan's book "Betsie ten Boom Promise of God" God brought me to Mr. Evans ministry after I prayed to Him to show me what ministry I should be supporting. I am humbled and honored to follow in the ten Boom family's legacy and continue to daily pray for the safety and peace of Jerusalem and God's chosen people. "I will bless those who bless My people" Genesis 12:3

She is a divine woman, and I had read her testimony. I really praise God for her so encouraging and brave testimony. I was moved by reading it, so bless full to many spiritual lives. She done a great job by standing for our Lord God. She saved and won so many lives for Christ during horrible war. It needs so much of courage. Praise God.., Hope that I will meet her one day in my Lords Presence. Amen.

What Corrie, Betsie and Casper endured in the power of the Holy Spirit, as well as the Holy Spirit's work in Corrie to forgive those who were her enemies, have always been with me. I have also suffered some recnt experiences where I have had to forgive those who have hurt me deeply and the Ten Boom family;s legacy lives on in my heart. I often recall Corrie's meeting with the German Guard who asked for her forgiveness. In using her free will to choose God's way, The Power of the Lord enabled her and encourages other to do the same.

I read Corrie Ten Booms book, hiding place when I was but 16...I am now 52 and it still touches the deepest parts of my heart...I have not the strength she had and struggle daily...what I carrie with me is that even tho I know that Jesus is the Lord, and I don't feel him, her message brings him close to me each time. I am glad you are continuing her message...I pray for the world, it is in such hate and anger, love and forgiveness thru Jesus is the only cure for the ills of the world...Corrie was the epitome of the love and forgiveness of Jesus...

I have been a fan of Corrie Ten Boom's since 1972 and have read her books. She has been a part of my life ever since, and I tell others of her dedication to the Lord.

Oh praise the Lord for He is good; let all in heaven above and all the saints on earth proclaim His everlasting love. In my distress I called on God; in grace He answered me, removed my bonds, enlarged my place, from trouble set me free! Lord, May that be said of Jews as well as Gentiles! For only you know the heart of men, I pray that you would give each of us the boldness to proclaim to the world that the joy that you give runs deeper than despair! AMEN

I believe that the peace of Jerusalem will also be the peace of the whole world. My prayer is that everybody both Jews and Non Jews will see the need to embrace Jesus Christ(The Prince of Peace) so that this peace will rule the whole world and be active in the lives of people forever Amen!

I read The Hiding Place as a teenager -- I'm now in my 50s. The story of Corrie's family inspired me to dedicate my life to Christ, and this is what I've taught my children. If they could walk the Christian walk through such adversity, then I can, too. We all can. They remind me of Joseph who was unfairly sold into slavery by his brothers but became the salvation of his family when famine came. He was not bitter, but continued to honor God in his heart, and God blessed him. The love of God is the most powerful force on earth. God bless you all.

Being raised in Germany from a christian Lutheran family I surely had heard about Corrie Ten Boom, but I had never heard her whole life story. Thanks for letting us have part of her story.

I am left speechless by the GRACE of God and by what He can accomplish through submitted, surrendered and humble people. May He be glorified further through this tremendous witness. May the message of His love and forgiveness shining forth through those who are His own continue to bring others to the throne of Almighty God.

I have reed the Hiding Place,In My Fathers House and Tramp for the Lord. What an inspiration she was and continues to be. It was an honor to tour the museum.

I loved the tour of the museum, very enlightening. God is Good and this shows how much. I am thankful for this family and what they did for the Jews. The Halocaust was a terrible thing and I pray that if I were put into this situation I would also stand up and be prepared to serve.

What a wonderful story of a family of beautiful souls! Pure salt and light in a world of darkness. I hope to meet them all in our Heavenly home!
