My grandfather immigrated from Holland in 1913. My mother’s family is also from
Holland though they immigrated much sooner. They were able to shelter Austrian children during
WWI. Thank you for sharing the story of this incredible family. I am honored to be a part of
the Dutch people and admire and aspire to the legacy that this family left for us all.
