I read The Hiding Place as a teenager — I’m now in my 50s. The story of Corrie’s
family inspired me to dedicate my life to Christ, and this is what I’ve taught my children. If
they could walk the Christian walk through such adversity, then I can, too. We all can. They
remind me of Joseph who was unfairly sold into slavery by his brothers but became the salvation
of his family when famine came. He was not bitter, but continued to honor God in his heart, and
God blessed him. The love of God is the most powerful force on earth. God bless you all.
